Week 59  July 9 - 15, 2000
7/9/00 -- Only 17 days until Oshkosh
Finished prepping the wings. They were sprayed with Zinc Chromate and then a layer of while paint was applied to the bottom surface.

7/10/00
The propeller has arrived.  Applied a layer of white paint to the cowling and top of the wings.

7/11/00
Attached the wings to the fuselage and mounted the cowl in place.  Began laying out the paint scheme for the red trim/feathering.

7/12/00
Continued to mask off the feathering on the wings and finished the masking layout for the cowl.

7/13/00
The engine has finally arrived!  Unpacked and inspected the engine.  Continued to mask of the wings and mounted them for painting.

7/14/00
Painted red feathering on the wings and cowl.  Removed all the masking.

7/15/00
Sealed the fuel tank.
