7/2/00 -- Only 24 days until Oshkosh
Worked on reinforcing the wing skins where the cowl attaches. This was accomplished by adding gussets to the area.

7/3/00
Continued matting the two cowl pieces and working on the gusseting.

7/4/00
Happy 4th of July!

7/5/00
Riveted nut plates on the aft section of the cowl break. JB- weld was used on the rivets and the nut plates.

7/6/00
Installed nut plates on the upper wing skins for cowl attachment. Work on pulley and guide for the elevator cables.

7/7/00
Covered the fuselage and other parts that I don't want zinc chromate on. Began prepping the wings for primer.

7/8/00
Continued to prep wings and fixed some small hanger rash that might showing through the paint.
