Week 56  June 18-24, 2000
6/18/00 -- Only 39 days until Oshkosh
Tore the cowling off the airframe.  Carved the foam molded for the gas tank and laid fiberglass over the mold.

6/19/00
Installed the gas tank in the cowling.  Cleaned the wings and took them off the airframe for painting.

6/20/00
Took the gear off the airframe.  Primed the aluminum parts for painting.  Applied white paint to the stabilizer, boom tube, and gear.  

6/21/00
Bolted on the motor mounts, main wing fittings, and rear elevator bell crank with actual AN hardware.  These parts are on there to stay!

6/22/00
Masked off the stabilizers and fuselage for painting.

6/23/00
Sprayed red paint on the pod and stabilizers.

6/24/00
Do nothing day!
