Week 55  June 11-17, 2000
6/11/00 -- Only 46 days until Oshkosh
The first layer of filler was sanded down, and the second layer was applied. The rudder and ailerons each received another layer of white paint.  We ordered the domain name!

6/12/00
Sanded down the second coat of filler.  We ran out of epoxy again and had to order more.  The rudder and ailerons received their final layer of white paint.

6/13/00
Today we are officially www.ultimateairplanes.com!  After deciding that bicycle toe clips just wouldn't cut it Nate started building his own for the rudder pedals.  The aileron hinges were riveted to the wing.

6/14/00
The epoxy arrived and Nate applied the final layer of filler.

6/15/00
The first layer of gray primer was applied to the cowling and sanded down.

6/16/00
Ordered the propeller.  Continued to apply gray primer.

6/17/00
Filled and sanded one more time.
